Welcome to IEEE GEC2026
The 2026 IEEE Global Energy Conference (IEEE GEC2026) will be
jointly organized by Batman University (Türkiye) and the American
University of Sharjah (United Arab Emirates), bringing together
leading researchers, engineers, industry professionals, and
policymakers to advance innovation and international collaboration
in energy science and technology. All accepted and presented papers will
be published in IEEE Xplore and indexed in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS).
IEEE GEC2026 will be hosted by the American University of Sharjah in
Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, in hybrid mode, providing an international platform
for presenting cutting-edge research and fostering interdisciplinary
collaboration in the rapidly evolving energy sector. The conference
aims to facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge, strengthen
academia–industry partnerships, and promote sustainable solutions to
global energy challenges.
The conference will cover a broad range of topics, including
renewable energy systems, power systems, smart grids, energy storage
technologies, power electronics, electric vehicles, hydrogen energy,
artificial intelligence applications in energy, sustainable
transportation, and emerging energy technologies.
The technical program will feature:
• Plenary and keynote speeches by internationally recognized experts
• Peer-reviewed technical sessions covering diverse areas of energy
• Special sessions, workshops, tutorials, and industry forums
